The Careers Training Centre was established in 2008 by the CaPTA Group, initially delivering accredited training in partnership with other Registered Training Organisations (RTOs). In December 2012, the CaPTA Group became a registered RTO in its own right, strengthening the connection between training and the operational needs of industry.
As an organisation that operates tourism and visitor experiences, the CaPTA Group brings practical, employer-based industry knowledge to Careers Training Centre (RTO No. 40557). Training is shaped by an understanding of real workplaces and the skills employers need across tourism, hospitality, animal care and wildlife operations.
This industry connection ensures training remains practical and relevant, helping learners develop nationally recognised skills that can be applied in the workplace while supporting employers to build capable, job-ready teams across Far North Queensland.
